Mask No. 1: Finalmente (Finally)
PRE-SALE NOTE: Please Note: This is the best way to present the design to you. The triangles you see in the top and bottom are simply where the cloth is pulled together to sew the seam.
MAKE: All of our masks are made with 3 layers of protection: the outside, the lining, and the second lining, a soft fabric that goes closest to your face and can hold a filter inside. We tested a number of different fabrics and then settled on a polyester blend because of its wicking properties (ie repels waters) as COVID can remain in the air over 3 hours, attached to invisible water droplets.
Cotton will not work well as it absorbs moisture and could injury you as you may breathe in the virus. We use these masks with the filter for jogging, so you can wear it all day long whether you are a first responder or are in a situation where multiple people are present, such as a retail location.
EASY CARE: You can easily throw these into your wash and air dry them (you can machine dry them on delicate). As we change our masks daily, we wash it at the end of the day in a bowl with three dabs of handwashing soap (You can use different types of soaps but they become harder to remove and may leave residue). We then let them sit for 10 minutes as the soap dissolves the viral wall; just add enough hot water to cover the mask. Then, simply rinse it and air dry it. If you don't have enough masks, simply use a hairdryer to finish the drying process. We recommend you wash it daily to remove viruses it trapped and to use the filter for maximum protection, as this is your life.
This was the last tie we designed of our 20 but made it as the first mask. The tie has been very popular as it is really a power look. This was a complex design for us and had many different elements. However, when our artist Matt Forderer, has to use his creativity in a unique way the came up with this design that seems to encompass all of the elements of the original design, so we kept its name: Finalmente, you have arrived. This tie evokes images of strength, power, and polish, but with a bold presentation, very different from some of our other designs.
Here is what we explained in our tie section:
Finalmente (Finally). You wouldn't believe the elements that went into designing this tie. It is the second most complex next to Successo. We started out with the vision of one of the earliest Roman coins ever.
We then designed the center of the tie to demonstrate the complexity of the journey we call life. In between the various twists and turns of our journey you see the beautiful colors of blue representing the many jewels we are rewarded with along the way. The intricate patterns that touch on the sides of the tie indicate the various rewards that we enjoy as we travel along with our lives.
In the end, you see the total representation of our lives that are finalized by the Roman coin that indicates the end of the journey....the individualized rewards each of us seeks that mean something to us; it's not about money, it's about what the reward represents to us.
